If this is your first visit to Sarajevo, allow at least one full day for Baščaršija, City Hall, the cable car and an evening walk by the Miljacka. Two or three days are better if you want museums, Vrelo Bosne and a slower pace.

The center is easiest to explore on foot or by tram. Set aside a separate part of the day for Vrelo Bosne, the Tunnel of Hope and the mountains.
