Travel is most comfortable from May to October. Book Sarajevo, Jajce, Bihać, Mostar and Trebinje in advance. Carry some KM cash, grippy shoes, water and offline maps.

Adapt the route

Without a car, keep Sarajevo, Mostar and Trebinje. With children, add a night in Jajce or Mostar. In winter or poor weather, check park and mountain roads.

There are two long transfers. Add an eighth day in Bihać or Mostar for a gentler pace.

Can I start in Mostar?+

Yes. Rotate the circuit, but confirm overnight stops and your final airport connection.
